About Me

I'm an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and director. I wrote, directed, and produced the short film, Silent Notes, which screened at 26 Film Festivals and received numerous awards, and my screenplay, COPAL, won 1st Prize at 2021 Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival and was recognized at 11 other screenwriting competitions. My first attempt at a written stage play, Trying for Life, placed in the quarterfinals in the Screencraft Stage Play Writing Competition and workshopped at NYC: The Acting Studio, where the play’s first two scenes were selected for readings in partnership with Chelsea Rep Playwriting Lab.

I currently crew and assist at VERSO Studios at The Westport Library, acting as assistant director, producer, in camera operator, and writer, and assisting in creative development in the broadcasting and video production of a variety of cultural and educational programs, lectures, and mini-series.

I earned a Film Production Certificate from The New School and have a background in graphic design and creative writing. In 2019 I participated in the Yale Writer’s Workshop, where I focused on my novel. Before becoming a filmmaker, I worked in New York City as a graphic designer, holding positions at Time Inc. Publishing and Gannett Publications and freelancing for Barnes & Noble, BMG, Graj & Gustavsen, and several in-house design firms. I have experience on independent film sets as a director, producer, assistant director, art director, and provided support to a number of projects in many capacities. My current projects include a feature screenplay and a novel.
